Throughout the program, a mentor from the Automation Engineer Team (AE Team) will support you to successfully advance in all these areas. On top of the on‑the‑job learning with the AE Team you will follow more than 300 hours of theoretical and practical trainings, with external providers, on several subjects such as electric and electronic (e.g. EPLAN, panel wiring and assembly), automation and robotics (e.g. PLC programming, Python and SQL basics), project management and communication. At the end of the program, you will be fully trained to be eligible for an Automation Engineer position in our maintenance teams. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pDuring the apprenticeship program, you will work with the AE Team on site, that is responsible for all controls systems and sensors within the building: /p ul liWork in a hands‑on manner to actively monitor, fault‑find and repair systems in order to provide a high level of equipment availability to internal customers. /li liTrain technicians on the basics of control systems fault‑finding in order to raise the level of knowledge within the site. /li liWork within the EU Controls network to enhance the capability to monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and provide visualization and data to internal customers by means of troubleshooting and prioritising. /li liActively participate or own continuous improvement projects coordinated by the EU Controls network. /li liWork with IT, EU Controls Engineering and Operations Engineering to ensure all systems are correctly documented and that accurate backup libraries are maintained. /li /ul pShift Pattern: This role includes working in non‑traditional shift pattern, which might include nights and weekends. This job opportunity does not include remote‑working options. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liYou are between 18 and 29 years old /li liYou have a bachelor degree in Automation Engineering field, or you will achieve it before the start of the Program /li liYou speak Italian fluently and demonstrate good communication skills (written verbal) /li liYou have the ability to communicate (written verbal) in English at Level B2 or higher /li liYou have the ability to understand and follow verbal or written technical instructions /li liYou are passionate about Automation and Engineering and would like to start a career in this area /li liYou are motivated and have a practical approach /li liYou want to acquire a commitment to learn, develop and get involved /li liYou have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) /li liYou are a proactive person and open to acquiring new knowledge and skills /li liYou like to work in a team and easily build relationships with others /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in electrical engineering or related fields /li liProject management experience /li liSoftware developer experience /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
