PAviomar to open Ryanair training centre in northern Italy /pp25 November 2024 /ppParma International Airport is just outside the city. Image : Google Earth /ppJust before Pilot Careers Live in Rome (23 November 2024), Italian flight school Aviomar Flight Academy announced it will open a brand-new training centre for airline pilots at Parma International Airport in 2025. /ppThe airport is also known as Giuseppe Verdi Airport, after the Italian opera composer. This new centre is in addition to its existing training base at Urbe Airport, Rome. /ppThe new 2000sqm flight training centre will have the capacity capacity to train more than 150 trainees a year, and will be primarily dedicated to Ryanair Future Flyer Academy cadet training. /ppIt will feature a hangar for the new aircraft fleet and a training centre comprising of flight operations and maintenance offices, classrooms for theoretical instruction and two flight simulators (Diamond DA42 FSTD and Boeing 737-8200 MAX FSTD). /ppThe Flight Training Centre will be powered by solar energy produced by the 1,000sqm of photovoltaic panels embedded in new eco-friendly hangar. /ppbThe main courses offered by the new centre will be : /b /pulliRyanair Ab Initio Cadet Programme (Integrated ATPL) /liliIntegrated ATPL(A) /liliModular CPL / IR(A) /li /ulpAviomar pilot cadets with a Diamond DA42 training aircraft. Photo : Aviomar /ppCaptain Michele Marano, General Manager of Aviomar, said, “Parma airport benefits from its strategic location and proximity to key cities for the aviation market such as Milan, Bologna, Brescia and Bergamo – without the associated congestion and with a wide variety of accommodation options. /ppIt is the ideal location for the establishment of a pilot training centre.” /ppAviomar Flight Academy is an EASA-approved training organisation based in Rome, Italy, founded in 1982 by Captain Riccardo Marano. /ppThe academy has a fleet of 23 aircraft, 5 flight simulators and 85 instructors and has two locations in Rome – a flight training base in Rome Urbe city airport with classes, a maintenance hangar, management and flight operations, and a Flight Simulator Centre in Monterotondo, an industrial area just north of Rome. /ppJ-18808-Ljbffr /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
