Our Client is the largest Company in Italy committed in innovation and oncology R&D. The Company employs over 100 qualified researchers involved in research and development, from 'target validation' to phase II clinical trials. We are searching for a PURCHASING COORDINATOR Posizione: Who: - Functionally coordinate the procurement operations for the other companies of the Group, currently performed by a team of 4 employees, directly reporting to the Group CFO; - With specific regards to the biotech company of the Group, directly manage the procurement of Drug Substance, Drug products, Pre-clinical development services (e.g. bioanalysis, study packages, Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics assays), interacting with Clinical Development & Manufacturing and Clinical Research suppliers, both intercompany and 3rd party and performing activities. - Main responsibilities: - Suppliers’ scouting - Identify best supply market opportunities in terms of quality, price and yield-payment conditions; - Independently conduct negotiations for the purchase of goods and services, in accordance with NMS Group’s procedures or directives; - Collaborate in drafting and verifying supply contracts; - Issue the purchase orders by means of the authorized software tools in use; - Perform all above in team collaboration with the related business partners within NMS Srl Discovery and Development organization. Requisiti: - Educated to degree/graduate level in Engineering, or Business Administration - At least 8/12 years' experience in the Purchasing area, and minimum 5 years as Purchasing Manager (Category Buyer, or Purchasing PM, or Coordinator) - Experience working in Pharma sector, Companies that produces AS and/or CDMO - Experience of using management information from ERP SAP and Purchasing systems - Strong negotiating skills and a deep knowledge of the key contractual elements affecting the commercial relationships with third parties - Good level of people management - Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with and influence suppliers and internal stakeholders at the highest level - Strong analytical and communication skills - Creativity, innovation, problem solving and ability to challenge conventional thinking - Fluent in English.
