About The Role
\n
Job Purpose
\nAs Regional LSCM Business Controller for South Europe, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end business controlling activities across Secondary Logistics Distribution Centers in the region. Reporting directly to the EMEA LSCM South Director, with a dotted line to the EMEA LSCM Finance Business Partner, you will act as a trusted business partner, providing financial insights, performance visibility, and decision‑support to enable sound and data‑driven business decisions across multiple countries.\n
This is a cross‑regional role based in Vimercate, Madrid, or Paris, working closely with LSCM, Finance, and other key stakeholders within an international environment.

Key Responsibilities
\n
\n
- Prepare and deliver the monthly LSCM performance package, tracking warehousing and logistics costs across secondary distribution centers
\n
- Coordinate with the centralized Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate monthly and yearly closings
\n
- Lead the annual budget and quarterly financial forecast processes for the South Europe secondary warehouses
\n
- Provide proactive financial insights and anticipate operating issues impacting business performance\n
- Perform financial analysis to support key investment decisions initiated by the LSCM Director
\n
- Support LSCM and cross‑functional teams with logistics cost analysis and business case development
\n
- Monitor cost variances, KPIs, and performance trends to support decision‑making
\n
- Contribute to standardized EMEA LSCM controlling routines, tools, and methodologies
\n
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within a lean controlling environment
\n
- Ensure full compliance with Bridgestone EMEA finance and internal control policies
\n
\n
Qualifications & Experience Required
\n
Education / Certification
\n\n
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
\n
- Additional finance or controlling certifications are considered a plus
\n
\n
Experience
\n\n
- 3–5 years of experience in business controlling roles within multinational, industrial environments
\n
- Proven experience in logistics or freight cost controlling and forecasting
\n
- Track record of participating in controlling or performance‑improvement projects
\n
\n
Technical Skills
\n\n
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
\n
- Strong working knowledge of SAP FI‑CO modules
\n
- Experience with SAP Business Intelligence or similar reporting tools
\n
- Solid understanding of logistics flows and cost drivers
\n
\n
Language Skills
\n\n
- Fluent English (written and spoken) – mandatory
\n
- Spanish, Italian, or French is considered a strong plus
\n
\n
