To lead the Technical Amusement Team. To ensure that all the Amusement Attractions are kept in perfect shape and are regularly in service. To coordinate the maintenance activities including the spare parts supply and technical assistance organization and to provide guidelines to the Amusement Technical operative team. - Fluent in written and spoken English - Degree in engineering\/technical disciplines - Advanced Excel-PowerPoint-Outlook Skills - Availability to travel, Flexibility and Problem solving skills - Work experience: at least 5 years in similar position - Self motivated, detail-oriented and organised - Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills. - Looks after amusement area equipment and ensures that the needed maintenance is carried out regularly - Ensuring that all the attractions work in a proper and safe way - Supervising the work of the Amusement Travelling Supervisors and the Amusement Technical team providing instructions and guidance on a daily basis - Defining the strategies for the definition of the amusement spares stocks to be kept on board and to put in place contract assistance with the various attractions makers - Providing input for the selection of the new amusement attractions and for its integration on board - Monitoring the status of the amusement areas providing guidelines aimed to avoid failures and to reduce, as much as possible, the issue resolution time - Keeping records of equipment failures ensuring that the needed actions for the issues resolutions are promptly executed - Providing technical inputs for the definition of the OBR budget - Responsible for drafting the technical maintenance budget for the various amusement attractions and simulators - Searching, testing and selecting new amusement attractions for newbuilding with follow-up for integration onboard taking into account structural, electrical, fire-fighting architectural constraints VISA REQUIREMENTS (if any) Right to work in the UK Part of the MSC Group, MSC Cruises is the market leader in the Mediterranean, South Africa and South America, and sails year-round in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
