Overview Join to apply for the Mechanical AIT Technician / Engineer role at Albelissa Engineering, IT & Digital Solutions On behalf of a client company operating in the space field, we are looking for a Mechanical AIT Technician / Engineer for its Satellites & Missions Business Unit in Milano. The candidate will work as part of a team on the integration of a Flight Satellite and shall ensure the soundness of the technical approach, solutions, and implementation. Responsibilities Collaborate with the AIT Team on the Mechanical Integration of the satellite structure PFM model; Flight equipment integration; Waveguide and harness integration; Structural component integration; Use of basic hand tools (torque tools, screwdrivers, spanners, measurement tools); Gluing and integration of thermal and mechanical sensors; Support System AIT in implementing the MAIT process and related documents; Handle Satellite and MGSE, including use of cherry picker, forklift, and crane; Provide mechanical support during Satellite Environmental and Launch Campaigns. Qualifications Background in Mechanical Engineering and Satellite integration; Experience in the AIT area of Space Systems; Knowledge of system engineering process for space projects; System-oriented thinking and CAD skills (preferably NX or Catia); Proficiency in Office Suite; Experience working with fine tolerances, in clean room or high-precision manufacturing environments; Ability to work shifts, at height, and in restricted spaces; Basic hand skills (filing, drilling, tapping, heli-coil); Certification in flight harness crimping; Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) and torque wrenches; Experience with aerospace adhesives; Soft skills: adaptability, creative problem-solving, motivation, responsibility, and autonomy.
