TXT e-Tech, a TXT group company is looking for an R&D Engineer - Collaborative Robotics to join the Aerospace & Defense division.In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to TXT's success with technology, software, product, and system development; you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team. This role contributes to the innovative TXT's ARTO project. The ARTO project is a pioneering initiative aimed at automating the aircraft testing phase by integrating collaborative robotics and machine vision into the aerospace industry. At TXT e-Tech we develop and deploy software & hardware solutions that are utilized by clients across the globe.Main responsibilities
Working as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision;Performing various tasks in the robotics and software development area, from gathering requirements and developing concepts to designing, implementing, and testing;Creating innovative conceptual solutions in the field of collaborative robotics and detailed mechanical designs;Testing and verification of our Robots and Robot subsystems;Understanding and applying applicable processes, standards, guidelines, and requirements, including architectural and design constraints;Supporting Sales in technical customer inquiries and supporting pilot customer applications.
Skills required
Proven experience, at least 2 years, with collaborative robots and problem solving in R&D projects;Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation or Mechatronic Engineering;ROS2 and Object-Oriented Programming Language (C++ preferred);Strong written and spoken communication skills, in both Italian and English.
Nice to have
Proven experience in mechanical CAD design is a nice to have.
