Role SummaryThe Buying Analyst will hold a strategic position within the team responsible for a large client, managing and implementing buying strategies, monitoring performance, reporting, and drafting future negotiation strategies.Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth analyses of the client's media investments at all stages, transforming data into strategic and actionable insights.Effectively present results and negotiation strategies to clients and stakeholders, creating clear and impactful narratives for negotiation management.Develop and implement innovative negotiation strategies in full alignment with the agency's objectives and the client's strategic goals.Present and articulate negotiation strategies, acting as an internal reference for collecting and disseminating the agency's buying insights, and collaborating with the strategic Activation & Buying manager.Proactively monitor market trends and relevant data to conceive and implement anticipatory negotiation strategies.Constantly review and monitor purchasing conditions and campaign results, actively proposing optimizations and improvements.Collaborate synergistically with internal teams (Investment, Buying, Accountability, MMDM) to ensure strategic consistency and operational effectiveness.Maintain constant updates on industry developments and international best practices in media negotiation and purchasing.Interface with the planning team to monitor, guide, and coordinate operations stemming from on‐air campaigns to support future analyses.
Requirements
Proven experience of at least 7 years in the media sector, with a distinctive specialization in buying, investment analysis, and offline planning.Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for complex data analysis and the creation of strategic presentations.High precision and attention to detail, coupled with a strong results‐oriented approach.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and cultivate solid relationships with various stakeholders.Solid organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to effectively manage multiple parallel projects.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
