Salary: €41,000 – €59,000 per year The salary quoted is based on the successful applicant paying full income tax in Italy. The salary range reflects teaching experience.
The school is seeking an outstanding A Level Politics and Economics teacher to join their uniquely democratic, highly collaborative, and very successful small school community, set within a beautiful garden campus in Rome.
This independent, private, international, not-for-profit school caters for students aged 3–18 and delivers the English National Curriculum. The school has provided outstanding education to expatriate and internationally minded families for over 50 years. Recent examination results place the school among the top-performing independent international schools in Italy, with 50% of GCSE and A Level grades awarded at A*–A.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver A Level Economics and Politics curricula to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent standards in planning, preparation, assessment, reporting, and feedback in line with school policies.
- Work collaboratively within a small school environment to maximise student engagement and progress, particularly at Key Stage 5.
- Lead a tutor group and deliver the PSHE curriculum while supporting student wellbeing and monitoring individual progress.
