Lead Fulfillment Associate
The Amazon operations team is looking for Lead Fulfillment Associates with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers.
Responsibilities
Lead Fulfillment Associates will communicate instructions to other associates, motivate their teams, and keep work areas safe while performing production duties such as picking/packing orders, receiving/stowing product, ensuring inventory accuracy, and unloading/loading trucks.
They may also serve in specific roles, including but not limited to:
- ISS Representative: Maintain the link between Corporate Retail Teams and the FC, report and re‐escalate tickets, and facilitate resolution of retail request tickets.
- Process Assistant: Support daily management of department duties, allocate labor, lead meetings, assign job duties, and communicate with suppliers.
- Dock Clerk: Manage inbound flow, communicate with carriers, plan inbound arrivals, and lead dock personnel.
- Receiving Clerk: Schedule inbound deliveries, maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of appointments, and train backup clerks.
- Shipping Clerk: Coordinate with shipping companies, use their software to ship and track packages, and ensure proper processes with the Trailer Dock Release program.
- Non‐Inventory Receive Clerk: Administer the flow of non‐inventory goods, organize supplies, and operate equipment to move goods.
- Regulated Waste Coordinator: Lead the waste program, manage hazardous waste, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Amazon Robotics Quarterback: Monitor robotic floor health, lead dispatch for Amnesty Floor Monitors, and drive standard work practices.
- Floor Health Monitor: Maintain access to robotic floors, resolve issues, and assist associates with amnesty processing.
- Data Analyst: Provide data and analytical support for initiatives, root‐cause investigations, and compliance with SoX requirements.

Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Can lift up to 49 pounds; stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Will work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completed Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 1 year of leadership experience directly managing others.
- 1+ year working in a similar environment (manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, large retail).
- Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills for coaching, training, and assisting team members.
Benefits & Compensation
The starting pay for this position is USD 25.00–26.00 per hour, plus shift differentials based on selection. Amazon offers overtime pay, performance bonuses, and total‐compensation benefits. Additional benefits include EAP, mental health support, a medical advice line, and 401(k) matching.
