About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our team, who can develop and deliver well-planned lessons that cater to individual learning needs.
The successful candidate will have a detailed knowledge of the History Cambridge course 9489, particularly in topics such as the origins and development of the Cold War, international history, US-Soviet relations, decolonisation, and conflict in the Middle East.
Responsibilities
* Preparing and executing academically rich and innovative lessons;
* Developing a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of teaching styles and approaches;
* Employing effective teaching strategies to implement the British History A-Level Curriculum;
* Ensuring classrooms are places where technology is seamlessly employed to assist in effective learning;
* Reporting on academic achievement to parents and making appropriate levels of contact;
* Developing learning relationships with students that assist in developing confidence and learning;
* Giving time to planning lessons and collaborating with other teachers as part of teaching teams;
The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator with excellent communication skills, who can work effectively in a team and contribute to a culture of teaching and learning.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment;
* At least five years of successful prior teaching experience in the UK or an international British curriculum school;
