Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Management Specialist for our Client located in the Greater Vicenza Metropolitan Area. The Data Management Specialist will be responsible for ensuring data quality, governance, and availability across the organization. This includes managing master data, maintaining data pipelines, supporting ETL/ELT processes, and enabling advanced analytics through collaboration with business and technical teams.
The ideal candidate will combine a solid foundation in data management principles with hands-on experience in data engineering and automation tools.
Responsibilities
1. Implement and maintain data governance frameworks and data quality standards.
2. Manage and optimize master data across systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
3. Design and support ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of data architecture with business needs.
5. Monitor and improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
6. Support the design and maintenance of data lakes and data warehouses.
7. Use Python or other scripting languages to automate data-related tasks and improve data pipeline efficiency.
8. Work with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure/Fabric, AWS, or GCP) for data storage, analytics, and security.
9. Provide insights through data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, QLik, Tableau).
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in data management, including governance, quality, and MDM.
2. Proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
3. Familiarity with SQL and relational/non-relational databases.
4. Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Talend, Informatica).
5. Knowledge of data lake and data warehouse concepts (e.g., Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Snowflake).
6. Experience with cloud services for data management and analytics (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
