We are supporting an innovative technology business developing advanced electrochemical and materials-processing solutions in a highly technical R&D; environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrochemist with strong experience in EIS, electrodeposition, cyclic voltammetry, surface characterization and laboratory experimentation.
\n
What you will do· Design, execute and interpret electrochemical experiments, including EIS, CV and potentiostatic / galvanostatic methods· Develop and optimize electrodeposition and plating processes for metals, alloys and advanced functional materials· Use impedance diagnostics, equivalent-circuit modelling and data analysis to extract mechanistic insights· Support surface and materials characterization using techniques such as SEM/EDX, AFM or XPS· Collaborate closely with R&D;, process and equipment engineering teams in a product-focused, on-site environment
\n
What we are looking for· Hands-on expertise in electrochemical methods, especially EIS, equivalent circuit modelling and impedance analysis· Practical experience with electrodeposition / plating processes such as Ni, Cu, Sn or alloy deposition· Strong knowledge of CV, redox analysis, surface characterization and electrolyte / bath chemistry· Laboratory capability across experiment design, troubleshooting, measurement, validation and technical documentation· Experience in real industrial, product-development or process-transfer environments rather than purely theoretical research
