The Role :
We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to join our pre-opening team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of People and Culture, this role will foster a culture of continuous learning and lead the implementation of both local and corporate development programs. You will play a key role in building organizational capability, enhancing employee experience, and supporting performance through learning.
What will you do :
Design and implement learning strategies aligned with hotel and corporate goals
Facilitate leadership, team development, and upskilling programs across departments
Lead onboarding initiatives to ensure a smooth integration of new hires for all levels.
Identify training needs through data analysis, feedback, and business performance
Champion a culture of service excellence and lifelong learning
Act as a strategic business partner to both operational and leadership teams
Identify and implement learning and performance improvement strategies that support the hotel’s strategic direction.
What you bring :
Proven experience in Learning & Development roles within hospitality or luxury environments
Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into learning solutions
Knowledge of modern learning platforms and digital tools
Fluent in English and Italian
Highly organized with great attention to detail.
Experience in adult education and adult learning concepts.
Understanding of People & Culture (HR) systems and how they integrate, such as recruitment, selection, compensation, performance management.
Understanding of basic budgeting, accounting and financial management.
