Sales Admin Team Leader – Italy
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Admin Team Leader to join our busy Italian team, based in either Rome or Milan.
The Role
The sales admin team's core tasks include pre‑sale work including the administration associated with supporting new client offers, managing tenders, and handling maintenance or recurring revenue contracts. They are also responsible for building complex orders for new parking/payment machines, including checking production, delivery, installation, and invoicing of pay stations.
This is a pivotal role for a professional with proven experience in leading a small team and a solid background in sales administration or tender management. We are not looking for high seniority, but rather an \"early‑to‑mid career\" professional who is hungry to make an impact, optimise administrative workflows, and implement new, efficient processes.
A business‑level command of the English language is a mandatory requirement to succeed in this international environment.
About you
* Leadership Experience: Prior experience successfully leading a small team, with the ability to motivate staff and manage diverse administrative tasks.
* Domain Expertise: Strong professional background in sales administration or tender management.
* Operational Mindset: Demonstrated ability to organise complex administrative work and a track record of implementing process improvements to drive efficiency.
* Business English: Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a must for navigating international business requests and internal communications.
* Proactive Attitude: A \"change‑maker\" mindset with high motivation to take ownership of the administrative function and evolve it alongside the business.
Your background
* Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, or similar).
* Strong professional background in sales administration or tender management.
* Experience managing public sector tenders and understanding local procurement language in Italy.
* Knowledge of basic financial terms such as revenue recognition and discount structure.
* This role can be based in our offices in either Milan or Rome. Hybrid working: 3 days in the office per week, 2 days from home.
