We are looking for aCustomer Quality Engineerto take part in Sisecam Flat Glass Italy located in San Giorgio di Nogaro (UD).
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or related field)
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in glass packaging manufacturing or filling operations
Preferably field experience in production or quality engineering
Strong understanding of glass production processes from hot end to cold end
Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, root cause analysis, and process audits
Good command of English and Italian
Strong regional knowledge
Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably on filling lines or production floors
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in dynamic environments
No travel restrictions; willingness to be based in Udine region and travel frequently
JOB DESCRIPTION
Conduct product and process validation at customer filling lines prior to serial shipments
Monitor field quality, shipment integrity, and line performance during trial productions
Handle customer complaints and provide on-site technical support
Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues across the hot and cold ends of the process
Performing trial processing for the new products at customers' facilities
