We are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated professional to join our team as a Vessel Refurbishment Project ManagerRole SummaryThe Vessel Refurbishment Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of refurbishment projects from development handover through drydock completion. This role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders - including technical and electrical operations, hotel operations, designers, supply chain, contractors, and shipboard staff - to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective project delivery. The Project Manager will also oversee contractor coordination, logistics planning, pre-drydock preparation (such as cruise prep, inspections, and training), on-site supervision during drydock periods, defect tracking, and post-project reconciliation including warranty follow-up and financial account reconciliation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate all phases of refurbishment projects across the fleetCollaborate with hotel operations, technical departments, designers, FF&E teams, supply chain, and contractorsOversee project planning, logistics, budgeting, procurement (REQ/PO tracking), and executionEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standardsConduct on-site supervision during drydock periods, including pre-drydock activitiesManage defect tracking, warranty follow-up, and post-project reconciliationMaintain clear communication and reporting with all internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleQualificationsMaster’s degree in Design, Architecture, Marine Engineering, or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in the marine industryAt least 3 years of cruise ship refurbishment or new build project management experienceStrong project management, organizational, and cross-functional stakeholder management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, international environmentWhy Join UsWork on high-impact refurbishment projects within a globally recognized brandCollaborate with experienced professionals across disciplines and continentsContribute directly to shaping the guest experience for millions of travelers worldwide
