In this role, you will work mainly with worldwide planning and manufacturing teams to fully understand their data and reporting requirements. You will translate these requirements into functional specifications for our internal Business Intelligence IT team. Working with Agile methodology, you will follow all the steps required to release the data structure or report, including the preparation of training materials if needed.Job Location:Vishay Semiconductor Italiana Spa is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently work in Borgaro Torinese Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans.The site is one of the possible customers however, working under Director Operation Intelligence, you will get in contact with people all around the world.What You Will Be DoingContinuously learn about Vishay Business Intelligence Tools, data sources, and organizational structure, ensuring familiarity with key company metrics and reporting standards.Gather, validate, and document system information and requirements, using standardized templates; deliver clear documentation to both end-users and software developers.Analyze data models and draw logical conclusions; describe design specifications to IT, support implementation, and conduct thorough testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.Evaluate data quality and initiate cleansing activities.Support the technical roadmap of Vishay's BI-related systems by conducting tests, preparing documentation, and developing training materials for end-users on SharePoint and Workday.
What You Will Bring AlongBachelor's degree in scientific discipline, with a strong preference for Industrial Engineering. Solid understanding of economic, production, and manufacturing processes.Experience in data analysis, data elaboration, or data mining. Proficiency in data science, statistics, or artificial intelligence is highly valued.Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, SAP S/4HANA is a plus; familiarity with business intelligence systems preferred.Open-minded approach, strong listening and synthesis abilities, and keen attention to detail and anomalies. Natural curiosity and eagerness to learn.Demonstrates customer-oriented behavior and a supportive attitude.Effective communication skills, with proficiency in English.Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and proactively update stakeholders on progress.Adaptability and flexibility; thrives in a global team environment.
