About our opening annual Leading Hotel Following two years of extensive renovation, the historic Albergo Italia reopens under the new name Cortina Palace, part of the luxury collection “Le Graal.” This 5-star luxury hotel, featuring a contemporary and sophisticated design, aims to offer guests a unique and memorable hospitality experience through impeccable, empathetic, and spontaneous service. The goal is to create a welcoming and refined atmosphere where every guest feels valued and pampered. The primary objective of the team is to excel in every aspect of the guest experience—from warm welcomes and personalized attention to the high quality and uniqueness of dining and wellness services.
Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene. This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional guest experience, in line with the standards of a luxury hotel, by leading a professional, efficient, and detail-oriented team.
Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team, including room attendants, public area staff, and linen room personnel.
Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness, order, and maintenance throughout all areas of the hotel.
Develop and implement housekeeping procedures, checklists, and quality control standards.
Coordinate with the Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely room readiness.
Manage linen inventories, amenities, uniforms, and cleaning supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost control.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure compliance with luxury standards and immediate resolution of issues.
Oversee laundry operations and liaise with external providers as necessary.
Handle guest feedback and special requests with discretion, efficiency, and personalized service.
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.
Monitor department budgets, schedules, and staffing needs, optimizing resources and productivity.
Requirements Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar leadership role in a 5-star or luxury hotel environment.
In-depth knowledge of housekeeping procedures, materials, and equipment.
Excellent knowledge of Leading Hotels of the World standards is a plus.
Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards.
Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
Proficiency in housekeeping management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility regarding schedules, weekends, and holidays.
Professional demeanor, discretion and a guest-focused attitude.
