We invite passionate individuals to join our team dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions. /p h3THE ROLE /h3 h3Based in Montecchio Maggiore /h3 pFor our Italy sales and service operations across 2 locations covering 900 employees we are seeking an experienced HR People Operation Specialist. This position ensures timely thorough and consistent processing of all HR operational activities and contract documentation within the employee life-cycle from onboarding of new hires and transfers to leaves of absence to benefits and reward administrations to terminations; ensures that payroll is processed accurately via local payroll provider system (ADP) maintaining updating analyzing payroll and admin records reports and statistics monitoring the service and relationship and maintaining statutory policy and SOX compliance. /p pThis role is a primary point of contact for employees and managers to answer general HR / payroll / benefits questions request documentation and Workday support and works closely with the HR business partners COEs HRIS and external partners to execute employee-focused HR services. /p h3Principal Responsibilities /h3 ul liResponsible for day to day operational and transactional support for HR processes in the employee life cycle related to Hiring Onboarding Contract Changes Terminations country transfers Employee / Manager Self-service transactions Time Attendance etc. /li liRespond to and work with the appropriate support teams to resolve inquiries / escalations from HR team employees and managers received through tickets submitted via mail and other contact options. /li liEnsure accuracy legal and policy compliance and data integrity of all HR data and ensure that all HR data and processes satisfy compliance policies e.g. GDPR. /li liPerform transactions in HR Workday. /li liSupport maintenance of HR Workday data and carry out data validation checks. /li liMaintaining employee documentation as required. /li liPrepare update and maintain job documentation reference guides policies formats and letters and ensure up to date on HR sharepoint. /li liWorks closely with the payroll vendors and service providers to ensure that SLAs are adhered to and maintained. /li liCollects reviews updates payroll data and employee personal changes accurately to be delivered to the Payroll Vendors. /li liComplies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; monitoring payroll vendors to ensure high accuracy and quality data. /li liEducating employees and managers of services available to them and encouraging self-service tools in Workday and Payroll Vendors. /li liEscalate / triage issues or queries to Business Partners HRIS COEs etc. as needed. /li liAssist with implementation of enhancements to key HR applications and related processes and participate in European or global change projects. /li liSupport the digitalization project of employees documentation and the implementation of the new document management system. /li liDrive a high level of customer satisfaction through service delivery quality and self‑identifying trends and opportunities to enhance the customer experience. /li liBuild strong relationships with HR business partners outsourced vendors HR People Operations peers. /li /ul h3Key Competencies /h3 ul liLabor and CBA law (payroll) /li liBudget and labor cost /li liInternal communication skills /li liPeople management (ops) /li liIndustrial relations /li liDigital Skills /li liTime management /li liOrganization accuracy /li liCustomer oriented /li liTeam work /li liMust be comfortable with change /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liIdeally minimum 4 / 5 years relevant experience in payroll analyst role and / or HR Shared Services. /li liGood English level (written verbal) and fluent in Italian. /li liSpecialist expertise in compliance and regulations for payroll operations. /li liExperience in multi‑site multiple monthly payrolls. /li liWorking knowledge of the employment / labor payroll tax and regulatory laws. /li liClient‑service orientation with clear communication and interpersonal skills required. /li liHaving a sense of immediacy in attitude initiative and capability being able to anticipate situations before they arise within a fast‑paced high‑volume environment across multiple stakeholders / clients. /li liAbility to effectively prioritize and organize workload multi‑tasking is essential. /li liGood Excel skills including Vlookup and Pivot Tables. /li liExperience working with HRIS systems would be a plus (ADP Workday are preferred). /li /ul h3Location /h3 pMontecchio Maggiore (VI) /p h3Contract /h3 pFixed Term full‑time /p h3Benefit /h3 p2 days smart working company canteen /p pJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage conservation and re‑use.
