We are looking for a Car Fleet Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement Team based in KONE Italy, Pero (MI).
The Procurement Team is a group of professionals supporting the Business by involving the best Suppliers in terms of quality, timely delivery, and price. We assist the Business from the tender phase through the final implementation of Customer Orders.
The Position:
The Procurement Specialist supports, develops, and executes procurement plans in close collaboration with local operations. He/She identifies local opportunities, manages supplier relationships and tenders, including contract negotiations and price analysis, aiming to optimize costs and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Planning Execution: Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with local operational needs and global objectives.
Supplier Relationship Management: Identify opportunities, manage relationships, and oversee tenders, ensuring a competitive and transparent process.
Negotiations Cost Optimization: Conduct contract negotiations and perform price analyses to optimize costs, reduce risks, and maintain quality and compliance.
Strategy Project Leadership: Lead or support the rollout of local and global procurement strategies and projects.
Indirect Procurement Management: Manage procurement and operations of the Car Fleet category, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Oversee other indirect procurement categories such as ICT, Professional Services, and Travel, ensuring value-oriented solutions.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor/Master’s degree in Economics or High School Diploma.
Professional Experience: 3-4+ years working in a matrix and international organization.
Fluency in Italian and English is essential; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
Negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of indirect procurement categories, including Car Fleet, Travel, ICT, and Professional Services.
Organizational and project management skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder/supplier management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
Proficiency in IT tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel, MS Office, SAP).
