Sr UX Designer, Cross Border & International Expansions

Amazon Cross Border (XB) programs allow customers to easily discover a wide selection of international products available from Amazon's websites around the world, offering simplified customs, faster delivery, local language and payment support, and a world-class customer service. Cross Border programs have presence in multiple countries and is at the forefront of Amazon's global expansion strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of intuitive shopping experiences that bridge cultural, linguistic, and geographic boundaries.
- Create user-centered design solutions for complex international commerce challenges.
- Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that enhance the cross-border shopping experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to deliver innovative solutions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing across different markets to inform design decisions.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the design system for international shopping experiences.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience.
- Have an available online portfolio.
- Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps.
- Experience delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity.
- Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing customer facing retail products.
