Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on the Amazon Music Finance team, supporting Creator Services. This position will play a key role in driving Creator Services strategy across marketing, production, and operations.Key Responsibilities
Own, refine, and develop key areas of Creator Services's content valuation modelWork with the business team to build business models, pricing strategies, and value propositions and drive near‐term and long‐term forecastingCollaborate with and present to the senior leadership team on a regular basisManage and execute entire projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendationsAnticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyze results; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of negative variances
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experienceBachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re‐engineering, quality assurance) experience
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experienceMBA, or CPAExperience working with large‐scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
Salary: 72,600.00 – 117,100.00 USD annually (USA, CA, Culver City). The base salary range includes sign‐on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
