Who are you?
You are a highly analytical, data‑driven Data Scientist who can turn raw data in BigQuery/SQL into strategic dashboards, predictive models and actionable insights that guide Product, Marketing and Operations—owning projects end to end from data ingestion and feature engineering to experimentation and model deployment.
We’re seeking a Data Scientist (AdTech) to lead our next‑gen Offerwall AI.
Ideally you have scaled data/ML in ad monetization or gaming and love shipping to production; you’ll set the technical vision, mentor DS/ML engineers, partner with Product and Engineering, and drive measurable revenue lift through ranking/optimization models, bidding strategies, fraud/quality signals and user‑value prediction, while establishing strong MLOps (monitoring, retraining, A/B testing) to keep models healthy in production.
This role reports directly to the Board and offers a clear path to senior leadership: the opportunity to grow into a Data Director role and build your own team, including ownership of the roadmap, hiring and mentoring.

What will you do?
Dashboard & Reporting
* Design, build and maintain interactive Looker dashboards connected to BigQuery/SQL.
* Automate recurring reporting workflows and ensure ongoing data accuracy and consistency.
Predictive Modeling & Algorithms
* Develop and validate models for ROI, LTV, churn prediction and other key business metrics.
* Apply clustering, anomaly detection and advanced analytics techniques to identify user segments, fraud patterns and optimisation opportunities.
Data Analysis & Insights
* Analyse publisher‑level and user‑level data to uncover trends, behavioural patterns and growth opportunities.
* Lead anti‑fraud investigations by identifying suspicious activity, quantifying risk exposure and producing clear, data‑supported reports with actionable mitigation strategies.
* Perform ad‑hoc analyses to support offer optimisation, campaign performance reviews and broader business decisions.
Data Engineering & Automation
* Build scripts and tasks to automate and clean data pipelines (e.g. retroactive field filling in BigQuery).
* Improve BigQuery query performance and cost efficiency through partitioning, clustering and SQL best practices.
Operational Support
* Conduct funnel reporting and analysis by extracting metrics (acquisition, activation, retention, revenue) from BigQuery and delivering clear, structured Excel‑based summaries using custom templates and macros.
What will you need?
* Proven experience in a Data Analyst, Data Scientist or Data Engineer role with hands‑on expertise in BigQuery, SQL and Looker.
* Strong knowledge of predictive modelling, clustering and statistical analysis.
* Experience with anti‑fraud systems, risk detection or high‑integrity environments is a plus.
* Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for data automation and analysis.
* Solid understanding of data pipeline optimisation, query efficiency and cost management.
* Excellent communication skills in English (Italian is a plus), with the ability to present complex findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail, self‑starter attitude and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
