General Description :
Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Operations Italy, this individual is responsible for maximizing the performance of BeOne Medicines' oncology products in Italy, managing a team of Key Account Managers.
The Associate Director Regional Field Manager (RFM) implements marketing and sales strategies and is responsible for achieving defined sales targets supported by allocated resources and budgets. The RFM also coaches and develops her/his commercial team.
Essential Functions of the job :
* Building an image/brand and awareness for BeOne Medicines and its products in the oncology market.
* Establishing strong relationships and collaborations with key opinion leaders (KOLs), study groups, and key accounts.
* Preparing the commercial market (customers, study groups, etc.) for the approval of BeOne Medicines' products.
* Implementing marketing strategies for upcoming oncology product launches.
* Building BeOne Medicines' sales function within her/his geographic area in Italy, including structuring a competent commercial field team.
* Achieving regional commercial goals and performance parameters.
* Planning and monitoring regional and cluster team budgets.
* Setting sales goals and analyzing market performance.
* Identifying developmental needs of team members and executing tailored development programs, training, and coaching.
* Providing scientific advice and support to KOLs in hospitals.
* Leading cross-functional collaboration with other departments, including the field cross-functional Cluster Team.
* Keeping management informed of market changes and competitor activities.
* Supervising and monitoring key account plans.
* Collaborating with Market Access to facilitate account access.
* Working closely with Marketing to measure and improve field force effectiveness.
* Aligning with Medical, Marketing, and Market Access to ensure strategy coherence.
* Participating in scientific meetings, symposia, and workshops.
* Providing leadership to foster high performance, engagement, and accountability.
* Creating an attractive environment for talent development and internal communication.
* Establishing strong relationships with customers and stakeholders in oncology.
* Driving business decisions with a patient-centered approach.
* Ensuring team compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
Qualifications
* Scientific education and experience in similar roles, life science degree, and professional experience.
* Over 5 years of qualified experience as a commercial team leader, with leadership experience in oncology.
* Proven success in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
* Specific knowledge of the oncology market, especially lung and gastric cancers.
* Successful supervision of commercial teams.
* High social competence, teamwork capacity, and motivation.
* Solution-oriented, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
* Strong network with oncology specialists and opinion leaders.
* Confidence and scientific expertise to foster customer acceptance.
* Enjoyment in team work, project management, and networking.
* Strong implementation skills.
* Good command of English and computer skills.
* Valid driver’s license.
Education Required : University degree in science or business, with at least 10 years of industry experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities : Managing a local/regional sales team, including hiring, supervision, and development.
Computer Skills : Proficiency in MS Office.
Other Qualifications : Fluent in verbal and written English.
Travel : Approximately 60% of the time.
