Commercial Excellence Manager


Job Summary:

This role focuses on developing and monitoring global Pricing & Commercial excellence practices to support business strategy and roadmap. The ideal candidate will lead efforts related to pricing and margin management, propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives for margin optimization, and provide key user support for our global CRM system.


Main Responsibilities:

1. Leads and supports efforts related to pricing and margin management roadmap.
2. Proposes, leads and supports implementation of continuous improvement initiatives for margin optimization.
3. Develops KPIs and monitors performance tools, provides insights and advice on business prediction, decisions, pricing simulations and monitoring.
4. Continuously improves and provides key user support for our global CRM system (SAP Cloud 4 Customer).
5. Supports regional teams with Sales Force Effectiveness efforts focusing on improvement of existing processes, data and tools.
6. Coordinates Data Accuracy & Maintenance efforts within SAP and other systems with regional master data teams.
7. Administers new Contract Management system.
8. Proposes and leads Pricing and Margin Initiatives.
9. Designs, structures and improves analysis and reporting tools (C4C, Pipeline Projection, Customer One-page dashboards & Pricing Monitoring dashboards).
10. Leads and supports in development and deployment of tools to build pricing consistency and transparency across regions.
11. CRM/C4C champion:
12. Collaborates with IS teams to continuously improve internal systems.
13. Develops training materials and leads events for strategic project implementations.


Requirements:

1. Business degree.
2. Masters/ MBA preferred.
3. +5-7 years of experience in Pricing, Marketing or Sales roles.
4. PowerBI/CRM system expertise is highly beneficial.
5. Experience in contributing to similar commercial effectiveness improvement projects is a major asset.
6. Demonstrated success in driving change and supporting global programs.
7. Proven leadership capabilities and team player.
8. Assessment of large datasets from a variety of sources.
9. Proficiency in a multi-country, matrix team environment.
10. Capability in agile methodology.
11. B2B manufacturing industry experience preferred.


Skills:

1. Strong reporting and analytical skills.
2. Strong Project Management skills.
3. Ability to work on different projects with multicultural teams.
4. Solid mastery of Excel and PowerPoint, plus an ERP and Business Intelligence software (ideally SAP, QlikView, Power BI).
5. Fluency in English (other languages would be a plus).
6. Strong written and oral communication skills.
7. Customer Orientation.
8. Strategic and forward thinking.
