PpThe Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for managing and improving supplier quality, with a particular focus on assembled mechanical components and plastic products. This role ensures that suppliers comply with quality standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements, working closely with engineering, purchasing, and production teams. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liEvaluate and qualify new suppliers according to company and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, …). /li liMonitor supplier quality performance through KPIs and periodic audits. /li liManage improvement plans, preventive actions, and corrective actions. /li liAnalyze quality issues on mechanical assemblies and plastic components, identifying root causes (Root Cause Analysis) and implementing solutions. /li liCollaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with technical specifications and process requirements. /li liSupport the PPAP process and component validation. /li liPrepare quality reports and technical documentation for traceability. /li liPromote a quality culture throughout the supply chain. /li /ul h3Your Background /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or equivalent. /li liAt least 3–5 years of experience in supplier quality or process quality roles in the automotive or aerospace sectors. /li liKnowledge of integrated Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 as a minimum). /li liKnowledge of plastic molding processes and mechanical machining, including precision machining. /li liKnowledge of painting processes on steel and aluminum components. /li liFamiliarity with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D, PPAP). /li liFamiliarity with measurement and control tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Colorimeters, 3D Scanners…). /li liAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with suppliers and internal teams. /li liGood command of English (written and spoken). /li liAvailability for travel within the national territory, Europe, and beyond. /li liQuality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 Auditor, IATF 16949, EN 9100). /li liExperience in managing international suppliers. /li liKnowledge of automotive or aerospace standards and regulations. /li liProficiency in MS Office, Outlook, SAP. /li liAnalytical problem-solving, results and quality orientation, negotiation and relationship management skills complete the profile. /li /ul h3What’s in it for you? /h3 pWork with the best specialists in their field, in a diverse environment with unparalleled global reach.
