The Global Business Technology Leader is responsible for setting, implementing, and guiding the global technology strategy for the Engineered Materials business unit across EMEA, NA & APAC. This includes managing multi-year capital plans and maintaining best practices to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Location: Preferred in Rho, Italy, but US locations are also considered.
* Responsibilities:
* Define future technology strategies for Engineered Materials, evaluating alternatives to enhance competitiveness and adapt to regulatory, sustainability, and EH&S requirements.
* Support product development, ensuring proper scaling and innovation gate review readiness.
* Maintain knowledge of best production technologies and facility requirements for efficiency, and promote best practices across facilities.
* Develop and manage the multi-year capital plan, oversee project execution, and ensure compliance with capital work processes.
* Lead people management initiatives, coaching, talent development, and organizational effectiveness within the technology team.
Qualifications:
* Engineering Degree (Chemical preferred)
* 15-20 years of manufacturing and engineering experience in relevant technologies
* Experience in EHS, process, and project engineering; international experience preferred
* Deep knowledge of the technology is essential; organization-wide expertise is acceptable if not present in the individual
