Linum Consult’s client is an international design and build main contractor, specialising in EPC Construction of large commercial buildings and industrial facilities They are currently seeking a hands‑on Operations Director from a main contractor background to oversee their Industrial division across Italy, based in Milan.RESPONSIBILITIESLeading and managing a team of Project Managers and site personnel to deliver complex industrial building projects across ItalyEnsuring the performance, design development, and client satisfaction from pre‑construction through to project completionCollaborating closely with multidisciplinary international teams, managing the technical and commercial elements, and playing a pivotal role in maintaining and growing client relationshipsDirecting and coordinating design activities, including optimising technical solutions, controlling project milestones, and supporting technical excellenceActing as the main point of contact for clients, leading change management, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project life cycleLeading cross‑functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration between all stakeholdersPartnering with local project teams during the execution phases, maintaining alignment between design intent and construction deliveryPROFILEBachelor’s degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similar, ideally with an MBA or equivalentAt least 10 years’ experience within the construction industry, with a history of working on highly‑technical large buildings and industrial facilities in an operations management roleA history of working for main contractors, with an established network of contacts to help develop the businessExposure to M&E project management would be advantageousVery strong leadership, management, and communication skillsFluent in spoken and written Italian and EnglishThe right to live and work in the EUAPPLICATION PROCESSIf you fulfil the minimum requirements stipulated by our client and are confidentially interested in applying, then please drop Linum Consult a line with a copy of your CV and contact details to europe@linumconsult.com for the attention of Neill Donald.#J-18808-Ljbffr
