Together with our customers and distribution partners, we develop optimized solutions related to propel, work and control functions by specifying and verifying Danfoss Power Solution products and systems. You will primarily work from the office together with other qualified engineers across EU or work on-site with distributor partners. But with the right expertise, other arrangements can be agreed on. The job involves travel activity of approx. 15-25 travel days per year.Job ResponsibilitiesAs Application Engineer in distribution, you`ll be responsible for all technical request and in direct contact with distribution partners. Your main task will be to apply and validate application solutions based on Danfoss Power Solutions’ mobile hydraulic and electronic control products across the entire product line.More in details, you will:Support in pre-selling, carry out customer presentations and training.Offer system support to distributor partners.Technical specifications based on customer requirementsSystem design and sizingProposing proof-of-concept application software solutionsOn-site machine testing and tuning, or at our Application Development Center in Nordborg (Denmark)Carrying out day-to-day inquiries and tasks relating to fulfilling Distribution partners’ technical requestsManaging Distributor/partner projects internally, communicate between internal stakeholders and customers. Communicate the voice of our customers by sharing current and future technical mobile market needs with the EU team members and other stakeholders.Background & SkillsAs our new Application Engineer you have a BSc, Master or equivalent within Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, or relevant engineering background and is proficient with analytic approach within hydraulics, electronics and/or application control systems. As a person, you should have an outgoing and pro-active approach, communicate with distributors in addition to internal stakeholders. You are committed to your work and eager to learn. We expect you to be open for improvements and able to adjust mindset and have a growth mindset. Last but not least, you have a team player mentality.Furthermore, you should have good English language skills, both verbally and in writing.
