Position: Maintenance Technician Specialist (Sterile Area) - Sesto Fiorentino
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician Specialist responsible for mechanical and/or electrical maintenance of production equipment at our Sesto Fiorentino facility. The role involves working with partially defined methods and procedures.
Role Objectives
Depending on experience and autonomy, the technician will:
* Perform maintenance activities autonomously following predefined methods and procedures.
* Maintain proper on-the-job training for maintenance and operational staff.
* Participate in site safety programs and be responsible for meeting alignment outputs.
Main Responsibilities
* Operate safely, following procedures, wearing PPE, and reporting non-conformities.
* Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, complete documentation accurately, and report deviations.
* Perform preventive maintenance as per procedures, providing feedback for optimization.
* Identify complex faults, perform corrective maintenance in collaboration with supervisors, adhering to safety and GMP standards.
* Propose predictive maintenance actions.
* Keep work areas clean and organized.
* Select appropriate materials and collaborate on inventory management.
* Coordinate with external suppliers for spare parts and improvement activities.
* Assist in drafting technical procedures.
* Suggest efficiency and safety improvements.
* Train colleagues and operators as needed.
Qualifications
* High school diploma in electrical/electronic field.
* At least 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or similar industries, especially in classified areas (Class C).
* Knowledge of technical drawings, electrical/pneumatic schematics, fault analysis, and troubleshooting.
* Understanding of physical quantities and basic mechanical, metallurgical, electronic, and automation principles.
* Proficiency with measurement tools and basic data analysis software (e.g., Excel).
* Teamwork attitude and decision-making skills.
