For one of our clients in Bologna, we are looking for IIoT Project Coordinator to join the Digital Engineering Team responsible to support local factories in finalizing implementation of new IIoT solutions or new digital architecture for manufacturing equipment.
In this role, you will be acting as project technical coordinator to perform below activities, therefore set of technical competencies and strong communication skills will be important in communicating with stakeholders and in coordinating with external teams.
Job Responsibilities
· Support in delivery and deployment of key digital engineering projects
· Act as a liaison between operational, vendors and business making sure the deliverables objectives are met
· Execution of OEM deliverables
· Verification at manufacturing equipment during FAST and CAT against digital URS
· Support machine integration to existing IT Systems for manufacturing
· Follow-up on affiliate readiness in terms of knowledge and infrastructure
· Follow-up on IIoT Gateway delivery from order through configuration to installation on the shop floor
· Support affiliate in installation, commission and IOQ activities upon new IIoT project delivery
Requirements
· Experience in coordinating activities cross-functionally amongst a big number of stakeholders
· Experience with Process control, Automation, Robotics with machine-to-machine, machine to system communication and Industrial Internet of Things solution (IIOT) as well as Vendor Management.
· University degree in Engineering, Automation and Robotics/Computer Science is preferred, but not mandatory
· Good understanding of OPC Unified Architecture; Computer technologies; IT and OT networks; OT Cybersecurity; Computerized System Validation
· Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks with strong attention to details
· Problem solving orientation and proactiveness approach
· Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Languages: English & Italian (depending on role location)
· Openness to travel to other factories when necessary
Additional Information
· Working hours: standard Bologna business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
· Working model: Onsite – with hybrid working as an option upon agreement if physical presence on production floor is not required
