Developing and implementing operational resilience frameworks, policies, and strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risksCollaborating cross-functionally to conduct risk assessments, business impact analysis, and scenario planning to identify vulnerabilities and potential threatsDeveloping and implementing comprehensive business continuity and exit plans, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practicesEvaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of existing resilience plans and processes, making recommendations for improvementsDesigning and conducting testing, training, and simulation exercises to validate the effectiveness of continuity plans and enhance organisational readinessServing as liaison with regulators (primarily the ECB), external partners, vendors, and relevant stakeholders to align continuity efforts and maintain external dependenciesMonitoring and updating business continuity plans, regularly incorporating lessons learned from incidents and industry developmentsLeading and coordinating response efforts during crises, guiding teams through recovery processes, and ensuring minimal disruptions to business operationsProviding regular reports to senior management on the status of business continuity initiatives and recommended improvementsMonitoring emerging risks and industry trends, adapting resilience strategies to evolving threats and business needs
What you'll need
A bachelor's degree in business administration, risk management, or related field4–6 years of experience in operational resilience, risk management, or business continuity within the financial industryA solid understanding of regulatory requirements (primarily DORA), industry standards, and best practices related to operational resilience and continuity planningExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision‐making skillsImpeccable communication, deal‐making, and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in relevant tools and technologies used for risk assessment, resilience, and continuity planning
