The Role:
Overall responsibility for warehouse operations and agreed performance levels. Reporting directly to the Country Manager
* Ensure that distribution center operations (inbound & outbound, warehouse management, storage, reverse logistics, VAS) are conducted according to agreed-upon KPIs and criteria
* Receive requirements and regular feedback from management and integrate them into operational plans, resolve issues related to requests that deviate from the contractual terms
* Build and manage the warehouse team of operational specialists, shift supervisors, and operational employees, including their budget
* Plan the daily warehouse activity optimizing resources and productivity
* Own and continuously improve warehouse processes: goods receiving, warehousing, order preparation, reverse logistics, inventory management, and maintenance of tools and equipment
* Monitor actual costs and specific KPIs daily and take necessary improvement actions
* Ensure that all QHSE processes, procedures, and standards are followed, as well as legal and regulatory compliance, and that we operate with a continuous improvement mindset
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Minimum 10-15 years of experience
* Excellent command of the local language and proficiency in English
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
* Experience in a multinational logistics company
* Supervisory/managerial experience in a similar role with a good understanding of procedures and compliance regarding warehouse operations
* Experience with warehouse space and process design, racking systems, warehouse equipment (forklifts, reach trucks), and WMS
* Strong communication skills, including with senior management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
* Stress tolerance – Maintain a calm and positive attitude during stressful situations
* Strong team player
* Multitasking between two or three primary projects at a time
