Geologist

We are seeking an environmental geologist to support projects within our engineering unit. Responsibilities include preparing project documentation related to soil and rock excavation management, environmental studies, site characterization, environmental due diligence, communication with public authorities, and permitting practices.

What will you do specifically:
* Participate in feasibility studies and site inspections focusing on geological and geomorphological aspects;
* Verify project documentation related to soil and rock excavation and site remediation;
* Support territorial units responsible for infrastructure design and construction, supervising field activities and investigations.
What do you need to join our team?
* Experience in soil and rock management, environmental characterization, waste management;
* Master's degree in Earth Sciences;
* At least 5 years of experience as a geologist in infrastructure or energy projects;
* Knowledge of environmental regulations (D.lgs. n. 152 / 2006) and excavation regulations (DPR n. 120 / 2017);
* Experience liaising with authorities for permits;
* Willingness to travel across Italy;
* Proficiency with support tools (Office, GIS, etc.);
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ideal profile also includes:
* At least 5 years supervising geognostic and environmental investigations;
* Fluent English skills (spoken and written);
