In this role, you will provide strategic legal advice across the organization, supporting senior leadership and key business functions on a wide range of legal, regulatory, and commercial matters. You will play a critical role in managing legal risk, ensuring compliance, and enabling the company to achieve its business objectives.The successful candidate will be a proactive advisor with strong commercial acumen, capable of navigating complex legal issues in a fast-paced, international environment. This is a strategic and hands‑on leadership role, responsible for defining and implementing the legal strategy for the business area(s) you support. You will report directly to the General Counsel in Stockholm, Sweden, and be a functional member of relevant business area leadership teams.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGStrategic Legal AdviceProvide senior-level legal counsel to executive leadership and business units on strategic initiatives and operational matters.Translate complex legal issues into practical business guidance.Support the development and execution of company strategy while mitigating legal risk.Commercial & ContractingDraft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including: Customer and supplier contracts; Strategic partnerships; Licensing and technology agreements.Procurement and service agreementsDevelop and maintain contract templates and negotiation playbooks.Corporate & GovernanceSupport corporate governance activities including board and committee matters and acts as a corporate secretary.Advise on corporate structuring, intercompany agreements, and corporate transactions.Ensure compliance with applicable corporate laws and governance standards.Regulatory & ComplianceMonitor relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting the business.Provide guidance on compliance programs and policies.Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory adherence across jurisdictions.Identify and manage legal risks across business operations.Oversee external counsel in litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.Develop strategies to prevent or mitigate potential disputes.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with teams including Finance, HR, Sales, Procurement, and Operations.Provide legal training and guidance to internal stakeholders.Support key corporate projects including M&A, restructuring, and market expansion.WHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVELaw university degree, preferably Italian qualificationA minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in law firms or as in‑house in a large corporationExperience working in international teams on global projectsExperience working with and presenting to senior leadershipStrong ability to provide legal advice to global and regional stakeholders and influence decision‑makingHigh level of proficiency in English (both written and spoken), ItalianEnergetic. - You drive and deliver business results from a short- and long‑term perspective.Agile. - You quickly understand and react to changes and take decisions despite instabilities and uncertainties.Well‑organized. - You structure your work and pay attention to every detail.Team player. - You find an approach to different people, cooperate, and find solutions together.OUR CULTURE IN 4 WORDSBe Customer Obsessed.
