Experience with Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, Rockwell automation and safety software design is a strong plus. /p h3Primary Location /h3 pLucca (Italy) /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Global Automation Standard Ownership /h3 ul liAct as the technical owner of the Global Automation Standard for Siemens-based automation solutions for Tissue Converting applications. /li liMaintain and evolve standard architectures, libraries, templates, naming conventions, and coding guidelines across PLC, Motion, HMI, and Safety. /li liEnsure standard governance: versioning, change control, documentation quality, and release communication. /li /ul h3Logic Conversion Standardization Support /h3 ul liSupport and lead machine logic conversions (legacy to standard), including refactoring and alignment to global guidelines. /li liDefine and execute migration strategies for PLC programs, HMI screens, safety logic, motion control configurations, and related documentation. /li liProvide technical direction and coaching to engineering teams to accelerate adoption of the standard. /li liProvide standard documentation for worldwide range technicians and other technical offices. /li liContinuous improvement: turn field issues into stronger standards and better tools. /li liMaintain a standard ownership mindset: disciplined approach to governance, documentation, and version control. /li /ul h3Advanced Troubleshooting Technical Support /h3 ul liDeliver expert-level troubleshooting for complex automation issues across PLC/Motion/HMI/Safety. /li liPerform root cause analysis (RCA), propose corrective/preventive actions, and document learnings into standards and best practices. /li liSupport commissioning and ramp‑up phases when required (remote and/or on‑site). /li /ul h3Cross-Functional International Coordination /h3 ul liCollaborate with mechanical, electrical, process, quality, cybersecurity/IT (if applicable), and production teams. /li liAlign with global stakeholders across regions/sites to ensure consistent implementation and continuous improvement. /li liCommunicate technical decisions clearly through design reviews, technical workshops, and standard rollout initiatives. /li /ul h3Quality, Safety Compliance /h3 ul liEnsure solutions comply with internal requirements and applicable safety and engineering standards. /li liPromote robust safety software design practices and contribute to safe, maintainable automation solutions. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liProven experience in industrial automation engineering, with senior-level ownership of standards, platforms, or frameworks. /li liStrong hands‑on expertise with Siemens S7-1500 and TIA Portal. /li liSolid background in PLC programming (structured design, reusable libraries). /li liExperience with motion control configuration and troubleshooting. /li liExperience with HMI development within the Siemens ecosystem. /li liExperience with safety programming (Siemens safety environment; safety lifecycle awareness). /li liDemonstrated ability to work across multiple stakeholders and influence technical direction globally. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to perform structured RCA and drive improvements. /li liFluent English Italian (spoken and written); ability to operate effectively in an international environment is preferred. /li /ul h3Nice-to-Have /h3 ul liExperience in Tissue Converting machinery and/ or industry /li liExperience applying Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in PLC software design (e.g., modular architectures, interfaces, encapsulation). /li liRockwell Automation product portfolio is a plus. /li liStrong background in safety software architecture (fail‑safe patterns, maintainable and testable safety logic). /li liExperience with standardized software frameworks, template-based deployments, and code quality practices (reviews, reusable libraries). /li liExposure to global/multi‑site engineering operations and governance models. /li /ul pApply by June 18th, 2026. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
