As part of our continued growth, we're looking for a motivated Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with US GAAP, and ongoing process improvements. The role reports to the Financial Controller manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the preparation of the monthly US GAAP reporting package, including tax reporting
Continuously assess and improve the monthly close process to reduce timelines and increase efficiency
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and manage internal and external review processes
Support the preparation of quarterly earnings releases
Create and maintain an accounting calendar to ensure timely completion of key deliverables, including the financial close and Group Board package
Maintain accounting policy documentation to drive clarity and consistency
Assist with the coordination of annual audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors
Maintain internal reporting procedures to comply with control requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of Audit experience with US public companies or similar roles in US companies
Fluent in both Italian and English (written and spoken)
Knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations, with the ability to research and present positions on complex accounting topics
Experience working with international accounting standards and issue resolution
Strong execution skills and attention to detail, with the ability to follow through and document thoroughly
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
