For the new Hardware Design Center in Italy, we are looking for:
JUNIOR HARDWARE PCB DESIGNER
In a dynamic and youthful work environment, hardware design engineers will work closely with worldwide engineers to design highly complex hardware interface for next generation semiconductor device test solutions.
**The main responsibilities are**:
- Provide hardware library support for world-wide customer PCB design projects
- Create component schematic symbol, PCB/template footprint and part information in center library
- Maintain hardware library to adapt to DFM/DFA specification of PCB/assembly vendor
- Give consulting on component selection and substitution for hardware design
- Review component usage in design, such as BOM and part assembly in PCB
- Collaborate with PCB designer on custom library work to ensure hardware design success
**Job requirement**:
- Bachelors in Electronic Engineering or relative major
- Good knowledge of electronic component and printed circuit board
- Basic understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for assembly)
- Good communication skills, good written and oral English
- Meticulous, pay attention to details
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.G., Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Good mechanical drawing reading skill is a Plus
- Experience in Cadence, OrCAD is Plus
