If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact. /ppbWhat You’ll Do /bbr/ /pulliManage vendor strategy for areas owned, included defining and maintaining technical requirements, and supporting RFX processes as needed /liliDesign innovative solutions to support new services that rely on latest technology capabilities such as API exposure, machine learning, artificial intelligence, analytics, predictions, network slicing, and any other potential value-added services /liliInclude in the design and selection process the requirements for cloud native characteristics of the overall E2E solution (platforms and NW), maximising flexibility, automation, resiliency and customer experience while optimising overall efficiency/costs /liliSupport Product development and commercial teams and ensure Service Platform architecture and capabilities are prepared to support future products and propositions /liliManage evolution and roadmap, in line with industry, standardization bodies and Vodafone own interest, of network functions or products (deployed or to be deployed in Vodafone markets), and benchmark them /li /ulpKey performance indicators:br/ /pulliTimely delivery of architecture documents, blueprints, design, guidelines, vendors benchmarking and vendor selection process results (RFP/RFI) etc. as per related plans /liliDirect contribution to vendor/system selection, and systems benchmarking. Influence vendor roadmap when required by Vodafone interests /liliSupport as needed Vodafone and Partner Markets /li /ulpbWho You Are /bbr/ /pulliSolid technical experience on: Core data and voice networks (components and architecture) and its evolution from 2G to 5G, including IMS and Service applications running on top /liliGeneral competence/background: in telecommunications (technologies and services) and ideally also in related technologies (e.g. microservices architecture, databases etc) /liliCompetence in cloud technologies and cloud native solutions such as containers /liliCommunication skills: English language (spoken and written), good communication presentation and negotiation skills /liliWork experience: 5 years experience in Core Network and Service Applications. /li /ulpbMust Have Technical / Professional Qualifications /bbr/Engineering Degree or equivalentbr/ /ppbNot a perfect fit? /b Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
