The successful candidate will have significant practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles managing people. They will also have experience in both electrical and mechanical disciplines, as well as automated equipment such as packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading, supporting, and mentoring your team to ensure they work safely, efficiently, and effectively. You will also work closely with the wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring safety compliance programs are implemented, recorded, and audited to provide a safe working environment for all staff. You will also be responsible for implementing network standards and focusing on preventative maintenance to provide high equipment availability.

You will be a strong communicator, able to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with PLC-based control systems, project management, and CMMS programs would be an advantage.

Requirements:

* Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in fast-paced environments

* Proficiency in MS Office, CAD, and other software applications
