Position Overview
Our customer is a global leading automotive company. We are seeking a results-driven Product and Pricing Manager to develop and implement pricing strategies that drive profitability and market competitiveness for two leading automotive brands. This role will play a key part in aligning pricing with corporate goals, customer expectations, and brand positioning across the European market.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and execute competitive, data-driven pricing strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
* Conduct regular market and competitor analysis, including research on pricing trends and customer insights, to inform pricing decisions.
* Monitor and optimize product margins; recommend and implement pricing adjustments to meet revenue and margin targets.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure pricing supports brand positioning and market segmentation strategies.
* Develop efficient pricing processes, ensuring internal controls and regional consistency.
* Provide clear pricing guidance to the dealer network to ensure alignment and consistent execution.
* Track pricing KPIs and performance metrics; deliver insights and recommendations to leadership.
* Liaise with sales, finance, supply chain, and marketing teams to align on pricing strategies and ensure cohesion.
* Manage pricing throughout the product lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life, adapting to product performance and market conditions.
* Support demand forecasting and inventory planning with pricing intelligence in partnership with planning teams.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience :
* At least 3 years in pricing, product management, or revenue management, preferably within the automotive or mobility sector.
* Industry Knowledge :
* Understanding of the automotive market, vehicle lifecycle management, and pricing methodologies.
* Analytical Skills :
* Proficiency in pricing tools, Excel, and financial modeling; ability to analyze complex datasets.
* Business Acumen :
* Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and profitability drivers.
* CRM & Data Tools :
* Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and pricing or data management tools.
* Project Management :
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects.
* Adaptability :
* Ability to adapt strategies based on market changes and competitive landscape.
