Within The Human Safety Net, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team as a Legal Specialist.
The role covers international legal, contractual and corporate governance activities related to The Human Safety Net initiative within the Generali Group and The Human Safety Net Foundation, with frequent interaction with Group Head Office functions and Generali Legal Entities worldwide.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work across diverse legal domains in a global, socially impactful and innovation-driven context, contributing to challenging and cross‑functional international initiatives with a strong purpose‑driven mission.
Candidates proposed through secondment arrangements from law firms may also be considered.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
1. Contracts Management – Core Responsibility
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts, primarily in English and also in Italian, including:
o Grant Agreement
o Letter of Intent
o Memorandum of Understanding
o Non‑Disclosure Agreement
o Partnership Agreement
o Brand Licensing Agreement
o Supply & Service Agreement
* Preparing post‑agreement documentation where needed (letters, addendum, amendments, etc.)
* Conducting case‑by‑case legal analysis of project needs, with a particular focus on initiatives in Venice, and preparing the related documentation
* Coordinating internal stakeholders, at Group Head Office level, throughout all stages of the contracting process
2. Governance of Foundation Bodies
* Supporting the management and preparation of documentation for the Foundation’s governing Bodies, including:
o Board of Directors
o Surveillance Body ex D.lgs 231/2001
o Supervisory Board
* Supporting the preparation of materials for Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. Board meetings involving THSN
* Aligning with Group relevant functions and adapting governance documentation, as needed
* Coordinating and cascading of resolutions adopted by the Foundation’s governing bodies, ensuring proper implementation and follow‑up
3. Surveillance Body under Legislative Decree 231/2001
* Supporting the coordination of THSN Surveillance Body activities
* Assisting in monitoring THSN operations with respect to Model 231/2001
* Acting as focal point for matters related to Legislative Decree 231/2001
* Performing first‑level compliance checks and due diligence screening using dedicated tools
* Evaluating results with a case‑by‑case approach and escalating complex or sensitive findings
* Supporting Group Legal Entities in performing local due diligence activities
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law. LLM and bar admission would be a plus
* 1-3 years of legal experience with a strong focus on contract drafting, review and negotiation, gained within law firms and/or corporate legal departments
* High proficiency in English (C1) and Italian
* Excellent command of PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
* Familiarity with digital user experience and digital tools
