The Role:
As a
Proposal Engineer, you will take part in the early stages of solar project development, conducting technical feasibility assessments, preparing preliminary designs, and supporting economic and financial evaluations. You will work closely with Sales and Project Management teams to define reliable and efficient technical solutions tailored to industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct technical feasibility studies for industrial (B2B) photovoltaic systems.
Perform electrical design: single‐line diagrams, cable sizing, electrical panels and layout definition.
Prepare preliminary and final technical documentation.
Analyse and develop key economic and financial project KPIs.
Support Sales and Project Management teams in defining optimal technical solutions.
Review supplier specifications and validate engineering choices.
Analyse documents and drawings relevant to permitting and grid connection procedures.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering.
Previous experience in PV plant design within an EPC contractor.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and PV simulation software (PVSyst, PVGIS).
Strong knowledge of electrical standards and permitting processes.
Detail‐oriented, autonomous and able to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
Fluent English.
