Overview

The Sales Representative will become part of our extraordinary Pet Vet Business Unit and join the territory team, bringing experience and passion to our customers. The candidate is responsible for achieving the sales targets of the assigned territory and executing internal strategies to maximize results. The role also involves working closely with veterinary clinics to understand their dynamics and needs, build value for the customer, and collaborate with the company to offer the best solution for our pets.


Responsibilities

* Achieve sales targets on the assigned territory.
* Maintain a high level of customer engagement and promote the company, its products and activities at all levels within the marketplace. Manage time and territory effectively, follow up with customers and cross-functional partners, record learnings/insights and call objectives in CRM, and share learnings with the team. Identify decision-makers and influencers within accounts/clinics and develop working relationships. Identify business opportunities and undertake calculated risks with the manager/brand team.
* Identify and target key influencers and accounts to maximize business impact, call regularly, and promote BI products.
* Monitor territory market trends, competitor products, and customer needs to identify new opportunities; share market, competitor activities, and customer feedback with relevant colleagues.
* Ethical and Industry Standards: Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards with all business contacts to maintain the company’s excellent reputation. Compliance with Code of Conduct and related SOPs.
* Selling Skills and Ability: Use the BI AH Selling model to engage customers, understand needs, build value, and advance the sale. Position products based on action plans and insights; foster positive relationships with customers and accounts/clinics; leverage multi-channel and CLM tools with targeted customers.
* Business and Technical Knowledge: Understand BIAH products, competitors, and clinical studies; stay informed about industry trends. Share insights and competitor activity with stakeholders. Use CRM/Impact Vet/Sales Reports to assess market, product, account/customer, and territory dynamics and opportunities.


Requirements

* University scientific degree (VET preferred) or equivalent work experience.
* History of successful performance in previous roles.
* Minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably in the Animal Health industry.
* AAI (Accountability, Agility and Intrapreneurship) – Elements of how We Work at BIAH.
* Fluent in social media trends and understanding of social media in business.
* Account management, business planning, and customer prioritization skills.
* Account management experience or understanding; strong presentation skills (oral, written, interpersonal).
* Analytical skills including computer and technology skills (Outlook, MS Office, smartphones, CRM tools).
* Well-developed selling and negotiation skills; self-directed with a growth mindset.
* Collaborative team player.
* Ability to travel (overnights required).
* Must possess a valid driver’s license (based on location).
* Must reside within the assigned geographical territory.
* Italian fluent; English is a plus.
