PMode Search is partnering with a leading international luxury retailer to appoint a retail Training Manager to be based from their location just outside of Milan. /ppbr/ppThis role plays a key part in elevating talent standards, strengthening brand partner support, and enhancing customer experience through best-in-class training and development programmes across a prestigious retail environment. /ppbr/ppThe role reports into the Brand Talent Training Director and works closely with the senior retail leadership team. /ppbr/ppThis position is permanent, full-time, and requires on site working 4 to 5 days a week. /ppbr/ppstrongThe Role /strong /p ulliDevelop and execute training strategy to enhance skills and performance for brand employees /liliDesign and deliver targeted development programmes in partnership with the Talent Training Director and retail leadership /liliMeasure programme effectiveness and report on ROI quarterly /liliLead special learning initiatives, including a Retail Academy model /liliImprove store management capability through structured training programmes /liliAssess brand-led training and ensure a consistent, high-quality learning experience /liliManage training budgets, ensuring cost control and return on investment /liliSource and manage external/internal subject experts for programme delivery /liliEnhance retail-focused development training (conversion, VM, membership, cultural awareness) /liliUpdate and redesign existing learning content where required /liliCoach Store Managers and support ongoing skills development /liliChampion organisational culture and values through learning initiatives /liliResearch emerging LD technologies and methodologies /liliUtilise customer experience and ambassador programme results to inform training actions /liliAdminister and enhance the brand recruitment platform, ensuring adoption and engagement across all partners /liliTrack headcount and vacancies; implement hiring strategies to support talent availability for /liliRepresent the brands at recruitment events; build strong partnerships with universities and talent communities /liliOversee seasonal and temporary staffing strategy to ensure optimal talent levels during key trading periods /li /ulpbr/ppstrongRequirements /strong /p ulliExperience in premium or luxury retail and retail training /liliDegree in Education or a related field /liliProven success developing and rolling out large-scale training initiatives /liliStrong cross-functional collaboration capabilities /liliExcellent stakeholder and communication skills /liliEnergetic, passionate and committed to developing others /liliStrong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills /liliHighly organised with a proactive approach /liliFluency in English and Italian; additional European languages are advantageous /li /ulpbr/ppInterested?
