About the Role
The candidate, reporting to the R&D Supervisor, will be involved in high complexity projects. He/She will plan and control all the engineering activities within the project, in compliance with the Company safety and design standards and guidelines.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for design technical proposal through system lay-out, FEM analysys, kinematic synthesis, and data analysis.
Key responsibilities:
1. Perform FEM calculation to evaluate structural, dynamic analysis and optimize the design.
2. Conduct kinematic analysis and system mechanics
3. Ability to develop numerical models and accurate simulations.
4. Conduct mechanical design tasks. He/She will support, in cooperation with Manufacturing, design changes in order to modify some machine parts according to specific customer requirements.
He/She will collaborate with Mechanical Engineering department to develop innovative solutions and He/She will work closely with process engineering team to ensure seamless integration of designs into production.
The position will be based in Offanengo (CR), Italy.
What You Need to Be Successful
5. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
6. 2/3 years experience in mechanical engineering and FEM analysis.
7. Good / fluent English (written, spoken)
8. Real passion for technological aspects
9. Strong communication and teamwork abilities
10. Use of main IT supports
11. Experience with FEM analysis software Ansys)
12. Experience with multibody software Adams)
13. Availability to travel (25% of working time)
