Manage the Quality Controls defined at Incoming and Manufacturing Processes, assuring proper records availability.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Perform/Oversee Incoming Inspection process, perform visual inspection and measurements on products mechanical parts, and tools
- Perform inspections on random samples or 100% of parts from a production line
- Record results of inspections stating if they are OK/NOK against defined specifications (KIP management)
- Manage non conforming materials/subassemblies
- Maintain production NC database updated and relevant KPIs
- Ensure that proper documentation that shall be provided to manufacturing operators is available
- Ensure bi-directional traceability of product information
- Oversee the calibration status of measurement devices
Education / Knowledge requirements
- High School degree in Mechanical/Technical (mechanics, electronics, materials). Other degrees can be considered depending on work experience.
Work Experience requirements
- Understanding of Statistical Process Control
- Quality tools (5S, process flowcharts, Sampling, Histograms, Control Charts, Trend charts)
- Knowledge of ESA ECSS Standards
- Previous working experience in the aerospace business
- Familiarity with the ESCC standards for EEE parts
- Experience in a company serving multinational customers
Computer and Soft skills requirements
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of standard MS Office® tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good communications skills and teamwork spirit
