Position : Technical Support Specialist - Part Time Location : West Palm Beach, FL Job Id : IT 7.25.2025 Openings : 1 Position Description : The Technical Support Specialist ensures proper computer operations for end users to accomplish organizational tasks effectively and efficiently. This position is responsible for receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve diagnostics, help request tracking tools, and hands-on assistance at the desktop level. Responsibilities : Proactively monitor and support end user hardware and software in a timely manner. Prioritize workload to resolve critical issues first. Install, upgrade, and configure hardware and software. Assist in testing new hardware and software prior to deployment. Configure, monitor, and maintain mobile security and virus protection software. Maintain hardware and software inventory. Install, configure, and troubleshoot content management systems. Manage web environments, including internal and external websites, ensuring security, testing, and content management. Backup support for VOIP phone systems, cellphones, and printers/copiers. Maintain user documentation and support materials. Ensure equipment remains operational, calling for repairs as needed. Maintain confidentiality of organizational information. Participate in ongoing education and professional development. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and licensing agreements. Participate in disaster preparedness and data security plans. Requirements : High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Computer Science or IT preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a tech support role, with familiarity in Microsoft products (Azure, Office 365, SharePoint) and operating systems. Strong troubleshooting skills, organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential. Skills / Qualifications : Proficiency in microcomputer operations, networking, and application support. Strong communication skills, including telephone support.
