The purpose of EFSA is to be globally accessible to any person regardless of their age, gender, culture, or ability, to foster the greatest degree of independence.Annual Salary: 50000€ - 65000€esperienzada 3 a 5 anniresponsabilitàThe interim will: Support content development and promotion for the EFSA 2027 conference; Draft, edit and publish website updates, invitations, partner announcements and other EFSA 2027 conference‑related communications; Plan and advise on social media promotion (organic and paid) with tailored content for key audiences; Ensure consistency, clarity and timely delivery of all messages across EFSA channels; Support selected communications tasks where needed to ensure business continuity in the Coordinated Communications team; Preparation of responses for media enquiries in assigned areas, drafting Q&As and lines‑to‑take, and monitoring media coverage and social media channels to identify trends, risks and opportunities.qualificheRequirements: Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level); Previous experience in scientific and institutional content creation for web, news, and editorial platforms, including the development of visual communication assets; Previous experience in social media management and the handling and monitoring of media enquiries to ensure consistent external messaging; Previous experience in conference promotion, pre-event communication, and strategic stakeholder engagement; Previous experience in the EU institutional and risk-communication context, with proven experience in collaborating with external contractors and agencies; Behavioural competencies: working with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy.Assignment: initial contract of 3/4 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months.Salary: approx. €3813 per month before taxes.Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week.
